Day Workshop on 3D PRINTING TECHNOLOGY
Government Polytechnic, Srikakulam organized 2-day workshop on 3D printing Technology from 26-07-2023 to 27-07-2023 for DEEE students. In this work shop the principal, all hods , subject expert V.RAVI TEJA, CAD/CAM services , Srikakulam , EEE staff, students have been attended. The expert V.RAVI TEJA, CAD/CAM services , Srikakulam has given orientation towards 3D-Printing and the electrical students also involved in many activities.
Three-dimensional (3D) printing is an additive manufacturing process in which a physical object is created from a digital design by printing thin layers of material and then fusing them together. Some industries, such as hearing aids manufacturers, airline manufacturers, and car manufacturers, use 3D printing to create prototypes and mass produce their products using custom scans. While it is currently too slow to be used in mass production, 3D printing technology is still evolving and has the potential to massively disrupt both the manufacturing logistics and inventory management industries.
Lecture on Solar Power Energy System
Government Polytechnic, Srikakulam organized a guest lecture on Solar Power Energy systems on 10-07-2023 for DEEE students. The expert Sri Indana Veera Subramanyam. District Manager ,new and renewable energy development corporation of Andhra Pradesh ,Srikakulam has given orientation towards Solar Power Energy.
The limited supply of traditional energy sources, resulting in high prices of the traditional energy sources like coal, oil, natural gas etc . They have resulted in rapid development of alternative energy sources, in particular solar energy. Various types of alternative energy such as solar energy, hydroelectric energy, wind energy etc are used in day to day life which exhibits more consumption of energy sources at a very cheap rate. This also results in environment eco-friendly and resulted in less pollution.
He also explained that India is a fast developing country and in population we are nearer to China, In India there will be global future of the solar energy markets. Energy sources classify into renewable energy and nonrenewable energy sources due to hazardous effect on environment in recent years the Government of India is promoting the production of green energy through National Solar Energy Mission-2020. India 2020 energy policy reports states that India is implementing the use of solar energy for electricity generation with wind energy. It is considered that India is one of the countries in the world who ensure full access to electricity, bringing power to more than 700 million people since 2000. Now India is planning to reduce load on conventional power plant by using solar thermal system like photovoltaic system.
