Government Polytechnic, Srikakulam is committed to providing a transparent, fair, and professional environment for all its stakeholders. The Grievance & Redressal Committee has been constituted to address complaints and grievances raised by students, parents, faculty, and staff members in a timely, impartial, and effective manner. The committee ensures that every grievance is handled with fairness, confidentiality, and in accordance with institutional rules and regulations.

A Grievant may be a student, parent, staff member, a group of students or staff members, or any combination of these stakeholders of the institution.

Objectives

• To ensure a harmonious and healthy environment for all staff and students.
• To provide equal opportunity and a hassle-free mechanism for grievance redressal.
• To monitor and strengthen the grievance redressal mechanism within the institution.
• To promote transparency, fairness, and professional ethics in institutional administration.

Functions

• Create awareness among faculty and staff regarding the grievance redressal mechanism.
• Promote a quality work environment by addressing employee and stakeholder grievances.
• Receive, investigate, document, and recommend appropriate action on complaints.
• Forward grievances to the concerned departments for necessary action and follow-up.
• Maintain proper records of grievances department-wise and semester-wise while ensuring confidentiality.
• Review pending cases regularly, facilitate amicable resolution, and communicate the status of grievances to the concerned parties.
